We encounter so many people who are still in the dream stage of their careers and their lives. They haven’t found that penultimate success, they’re climbing through it, trying to get there. Some make money as musicians, some don’t. Some are going to be great, some won’t. They are all however dreaming of something.
That’s why they meet us in parking lots, alleys, and on the side of the road. They want to share with the world the music that plays in their heads day after day, and we’re here to help them do it.
Matt Ellis is another dude who was hiding just around the corner from us in Venice. He’d seen what we did and he wanted in. So in a sense, our van factored into his dreams. That feels pretty good. Sounds even better.
